Clive Davis Gives 'Extra' the Scoop on his Pre-Grammy Bash

The  music  legend dropped a few A-list names of stars who will be in attendance that night, including Mary J. Blige, Magic Johnson and Whitney Houston. "The audience is from people I know. It's a diverse audience with a shared passion -- and that is music ."
The party will open with an as yet unnamed alternative rock group band, who Davis feels is "innovative and fresh." Clive also went on to say he believes  Janele Monae is the best new artist of the year.
